Park Shin Hye

Park Shin Hye was born on February 18, 1990, in Gwangju, South Korea. She discovered her passion for acting at a young age. Shin Hye began her journey in the entertainment industry as a child artist. Because of this she earned her title as the Nation’s Sister along with several artists. Park Shin Hye’s breakthrough came with her role in the popular South Korean drama Stairway to Heaven in 2003. She portrayed the younger version of the lead character. Since then, she has captivated audiences with her remarkable performances in various television dramas and films.

One of her most iconic roles came in the romantic comedy series You’re Beautiful in 2009. In this series, she portrayed a novice nun who poses as her twin brother to join a boy band. Her portrayal received widespread acclaim and helped solidify her status as a rising star in the industry.

Park Shin Hye’s versatility as an actress is evident in her ability to seamlessly transition between genres. From romantic comedies like Heartstrings in 2011 to melodramas such as The Heirs in 2013, where she starred alongside Lee Min-ho. To the rom-com drama she starred in with Park Hyung Shik entitled, Doctor Slump that just concluded last March 2024.
