SUMMARY
Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon is a fantasy romantic comedy-drama about a girl with supernatural powers who has a strong desire to belong. She has a fraternal twin brother who was an intellectual and always got special favors from their mother. Her brother is the brains, she has the brawns. All her life she felt that she is different from everybody else because of her ability. She has virtually spent her life trying to hide her true self. The story aims to help her accept and love who she is with the help of a guy who values her worth.
Powerhouse couple Park Bo Young playing the female lead and Park Hyung Sik as the male protagonist leads this romantic comedy fantasy drama. Their chemistry is explosive onscreen. As of this writing, talks about season two of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon are in the works. According to an article released by Soompi the sequel is set to start shooting this year and will be shown early part of next year.

Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon firmly represents a utopian ideology that portrays the power each of us has with our God-given talents. Bong-Soon’s gift was something that made her unique. In the beginning, she thought she wanted to blend in. All she ever wanted was to be normal like everybody else. Until one day, she wakes up realizing that she must use her unique trait for the greater good.
That gift is very symbolic. The writer wanted to say that we all have our own unique talents. What we do with it is a choice that only each of us can make for ourselves. Whether we choose good or bad will be a testament to our character.

Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is set for a sequel with the working title Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon. Like Do Bong Soon, her distant cousin Kang Nam Soon is also gifted with a superhuman strength that has been passed on in their family for generations. The story centers around drug crimes in the Gangnam district of Seoul, South Korea.
The sequel stars Lee Yoo Mi will play the lead, Kang Nam Soon. She was a missing child from Mongolia who came to Gangnam to look for her family. Ong Seong Woo plays the role of Kang Hee Shik, a secret detective investigating drugs in Gangnam whom Kang Nam Soon has a crush on. Byeon Woo Seok will be playing the handsome antagonist, Ryu Shi Oh. Veteran actress Kim Hae Sook will play Kang Nam Soon’s maternal grandmother Gil Joong Gan. Kim Jung Eun will play the role of Hwang Geum Joo, a wealthy woman who lost her child years ago. She has been obsessed with doing good deeds to be able to find her child.
