Lead Characters
Jang Dong-gun and Kim Ha-neul look perfect together. They are both tall and good-looking. Their demeanors as Do-jin and Yi-soo match very well together too. Do-jin is more forward but supportive while Yi-soo is very gentle and lady-like.
Supporting Characters
The supporting characters of a Gentleman’s Dignity lend diversity to the mix. Each has their own life happenings that are sometimes comical and sometimes heartwarming. Notable acting from Kim Min-Jong as Choi Yoon whose love interest Im Me Ah-Ri played by Yoon Jin-Yi is so much younger than him. His reluctant attitude as opposed to Me Ah-Ri’s bubbly enthusiastic personality is filled with a palpable tension that caused a rift between him and Tae-san, Me Ah-Ri’s older brother.
Hong Se-ra’s bitchy friend and selfish girlfriend character will cause viewers to dislike her but she has her own insecurities to deal with. Min-sook on the other hand is the cool rich wife who will not tolerate his husband’s wandering eye. But at the same time, she is relatable to wives in similar situations where they hate and love their husbands at the same time.
