Storyline

The drama tells the story of a special forces soldier named Yoo Si Jin played by Song Joong Ki and a doctor named Kang Mo Yeon played by Song Hye Kyo. They fall in love while working in the fictional war-torn country of Uruk but find that their chosen careers have many challenges to navigate as a couple.

Meeting in the Hospital

The story begins in an unexpected meeting between the two leads. Si Jin is at the hospital where Mo Yeon works. Mo Yeon is the attending doctor who was tending to his friend. Si Jin is immediately taken with Mo Yeon. On the other hand, Mo Yeon is hesitant to involve herself with a soldier. Despite this, the two eventually start dating, and their relationship blossoms. Their newfound romance is tested when they realize that getting involved with each other is not easy, to say the least. Mo Yeon has her own reservations. Si Jin has no choice but to follow orders and leave to perform his secret missions. This causes a rift between the two.

Mo Yeon decides that she doesn’t want to deal with such a relationship and tells Si Jin to stop. They part ways and go on with their lives. They meet again after months of separation in a special operation in Uruk. Mo Yeon is a volunteer doctor while Si Jin is with his team on duty.

Working Together in War-Torn Uruk

As they work together in Uruk, Si Jin and Mo Yeon face numerous challenges and dangers. They must navigate the complex politics of the country and deal with the threat of terrorist attacks. At the same time, they must also confront their own personal demons and insecurities, as well as the difficulties of maintaining a long-distance relationship.

Despite the obstacles they face, Si Jin and Mo Yeon’s love for each other continues to grow stronger. They support each other through the hardships of war and their feelings for each other become unshakeable. The drama culminates in a heart-wrenching finale, as Si Jin and Mo Yeon must make a difficult decision about their future together.

Will their love be able to survive the challenges they face? Will they be forced to say goodbye?
