The Lonely and Great God
Guardian: The Lonely and Great God is a captivating South Korean television series that follows the tale of Kim Shin played by Gong Yoo. He is a military general cursed to live as an immortal goblin. Framed as a traitor and killed unjustly, Kim Shin roams through centuries. He is haunted by the memories of his past and the pain of his immortality.
His fate becomes intertwined with Ji Eun-tak played by Kim Go-eun. She is a cheerful high school student with the ability to see ghosts, who inadvertently summons him. Alongside them are Yoo Deok-hwa played by Yook Sung-jae the Goblin’s nephew, and a Grim Reaper played by Lee Dong-wook who takes up residence in the Goblin’s house.
