Lee Beom Soo

Lee Beom-soo, born on October 16, 1969, is a prominent South Korean actor. He graduated from the Department of Theater at Chung-ang University in Seoul in 1988. Lee debuted in the 1990 film Kurae, Kakkumun Hanulul Boja (Yes, Let’s Look Up At the Sky Now and Again). While initially appearing in notable films such as The Ginkgo Bed and City of the Rising Sun, it was his role in the 2003 film Singles that catapulted him to stardom. Because of this he earned the nickname The Little Giant of Chungmuro frrom the Korean press.

Beyond his career, Lee Beom-soo’s personal life reflects warmth and joy. In 2010, he tied the knot with former news anchor and English interpreter Lee Yoo-jin. He credits his now wife with teaching him English. Their family expanded with the arrival of their daughter, Lee So-eul, born in March 2011, and their son, Lee Da-eul, born in February 2014. Lee Beom-soo continues to inspire audiences with his talent and charm, leaving an indelible mark on the Korean entertainment industry.
